Where to Ride in Breckenridge
The Summit County Recreation Path
(Beginner / Family / E-Bike Friendly)
Paved, scenic, and separate from vehicle traffic. You can pick up the path right near our shop on Main Street.
- Breckenridge to Frisco (9 Miles One-Way): A downhill paved ride along the Blue River. Perfect for e-bikes or cruiser rides! Catch the free Summit Stage bus back to Breck if you don’t want to pedal uphill on the return.
- Dillon Reservoir Loop (18+ Miles Round-Trip): Scenic alpine lake views with gentle rolling paved hills.
Mountain Bike Singletrack
(Intermediate to Advanced)
- Peaks Trail (Breck to Frisco): A classic 8-mile point-to-point singletrack featuring rocky climbs, rooty descents, and pine forest glades.
- French Gulch Network: Excellent dirt roads and singletrack loops (such as X10U8 and Boreas Pass) passing historical mining ruins and gold dredge tailing fields.
- Aspen Alley: A fast, flowing singletrack descent filled with golden aspen groves—especially stunning in September.
Important Local E-Bike Regulations: Class 1 e-bikes (pedal-assist up to 20 mph) are welcome on paved Summit County Rec Paths and town paved roads. However, e-bikes are restricted on most natural-surface singletrack dirt trails within the Town of Breckenridge and US Forest Service land.
